Led electric light bulbs not only save energy but are a great light to work by

Moving on from the traditional light bulb, Led electric light bulbs are becoming a favorite with the consumer.  Most Led light bulbs are designed to have the standard light bulb bases which will enable them to fit any lighting fixture that you already have.  It is probably best, before buying bulbs for the whole of the house, to try one bulb first.  Take a regular bulb out from your least used room and swap it for a Led bulb, or if you have a room that you leave a light on all night for security, or whatever the case may be, fit a bulb in there.  This way it will get you used to the bulb, as at first they may seem a little different.  It is well worth doing this experiment, because of the reduced light output, it is best to make sure they are okay for the whole of the family.

Here is a quick summary of how the Led electric light bulbs work.  The regular 40 watt bulb uses a lot more energy than it actually needs to produce the light you see.  A great percentage of the energy in which a normal 40 watt bulb uses is wasted as heat, not only wasting money, it doesn't necessarily conserve electricity.  This is why Led electric light bulbs are becoming more popular with the consumer because they generate little heat as they glow, therefore transferring most of their energy directly to light.

Led electric light bulbs are also great if you have a light near the computer.  As with a normal light, you tend to get a glow all around and shadows can often be thrown around.  Because using a Led light bulb produces a bright white light that is far better to work by, it is far easier for the eyes.  Led's have a tiny mirror in them that reflects the light in one direction because of this, there is less wasted light.
